  1. We have bought your theme back then. Alas, a lot has changed with Anders Norén’s Chaplin (and twenty twenty theme), making me wonder if you guys have undertaken further updates and adjustments to improve Melina’s Gutenberg compatibility:

    melina-editor-style-block-editor.css
    melina-editor-style-classic-editor.css

Perhaps the effort of supplying these additional css files would prove profitable in selling an upgrade to your otherwise lovely melina theme.

It would sure help me go forward with my girlfriend’s site.

    Thank you much, Mark

    1. Hi, Mark!

In the next two months, such an update is definitely not to be expected: we finish work on a new theme, and then go on vacation.

In the future, some improvements to the theme are planned, but so far we will not promise anything specific.

      1. Hi Vladimir,

I finally got around working on your Melina theme. Thus far a snap to set up.
Let me know though how to set up featured posts in the top section (mag style 3).
Can’t see to find Display Location/Featured area option on admin edit screen (nor in the customizer): “When add or edit post, in Display Location field select Featured area option.”

        Thank you

        1. Are you install “Melina Theme” plugin?

          From theme documentation:

          “Installing Required Plugins
When you first install the theme you’ll see a popup on your dashboard from the theme asking you to install a number of plugins.
Allow the theme to install these for you.”

If you missed this step, the plugin can be found in the folder melina/inc/plugins/melina-theme.zip
